SYLPH vol.10
The cover for SYLPH vol.10 has been publicized! This cover is “Sa-ya ga Kaku Arienai Series Dai 2 Dan (Impossible Series #2 Drawn By Saya).” Looking at it um… Yeah… It’s pretty impossible. Even more so than #1 (the cover with HiroC and OnoD making the heart mark together), in my opinion. There’s no way Kamiya would touch OnoD’s face or let OnoD touch his, LoL. Where does Iwasaki sensei get these ideas from anyway? Haha.
Black Thunder will be making an appearance throughout this new chapter. Try to find them all!
Again, SYLPH vol.10 will be released November 24. Furoku is a Dear Girl ~Stories~ Hibiki drama CD which will include a drama track and voices from the game. Purchase the magazine at Animate or any of the participating SYLPHmate stores and you’ll receive a DGS Hibiki postcard of the cover illustration.
The 2010/1/21 issue of Dengeki Girl’s Style will include a Dear Girl ~Stories~ Hibiki Christmas pin-up poster. It will be an original illustration by Iwasaki sensei. The magazine will be released December 10.
On the Theater page of the Durarara!! website, you can watch the Perfect Guide which includes interviews with the cast. Both Kamiya and OnoD make an appearance. OnoD’s comment at the end is funny. He’s so M…
A couple photos of Uta Hiroshi during KiraFes rehearsals can be found at the Kiramune staff blog. It was announced a couple days ago that the event’s theme song will be “EVER DREAM.” The song will be available for early streaming via mobile phone starting November 25.

A short version of the opening movie for the NDS Dear Girl ~Stories~ Hibiki – Hibiki Tokkun Daisakusen! game has been posted on the game site’s blog. The opening theme is Netsuai S-O-S! performed by HiroC (Kamiya Hiroshi) and OnoD (Ono Daisuke), written by game director Iwasaki Daisuke. Only one month until release of the game!
DGS Hibiki goods are now available for purchase at Amazon Japan.
From November 24 to December 24, there will be a SYLPH reproduction genga exhibit at the Culture Station Chiba branch of Sanseidou Bookstore in the comics section. (Blog entry here.) At the exhibit, you’ll be able to see reproductions of panel drawings from your favorite series published in SYLPH magazine. It does not say specifically, but one can assume the display will include panels of the Dear Girl ~Stories~ Hibiki comic.
UchiP sent in a couple DG Sunder package design suggestions to Yuraku. The first one is rather normal with a photo of Kamiya and Ono. The second, however… .^^;;; He added “De” into the product name so that it reads “Deburakku” (burakku = black, debu = chubby) and there’s a photo of Chanko chan eating. The catchphrase was changed to “Over 150kg of deliciousness!” HAHAHA!!! Yuraku is still accepting submissions for designs and catchphrases and they hope there will be ones that have a bigger impact than “Deburakku Thunder.”

Th theme song for the Dear Girl ~Stories~ Hibiki – Hibiki Tokkun Daisakusen! has been announced. It will be titled Netsuai S-O-S! and will, of course, be sung by HiroC and OnoD. The lyrics will be written by game director Iwasaki Daisuke. Also, Kusunoki Taiten was announced as the guest on the talk CD that will be included with the limited edition version of the game.
OnoD has unfortunately caught a cold and wasn’t present for DGS #135. Kusunoki Taiten took his place for this week’s show.

Update 11/8: SYLPH Vol.10’s bonus will include a DGS Hibiki drama CD. It will be released November 21. The cover of the CD can be seen at the SYLPH editors’ blog. Cast for the CD will be Kamiya Hiroshi, Ono Daisuke, and Kaneda Tomoko will play the role of the client.
