Weekly Album 9/7
Kamiya Hiroshi’s first mini album Hare no Hi ranked in at #9 on the Oricon weekly chart for the week of 2009/09/07. This is quite a feat. Congratulations, HiroC!
And now for some news… There were a couple event announcements at CharaHobby this past weekend.
DGS Hibiki merchandise that was sold at CharaHobby will be sold via the Chou! A&G Shop, Animate, and Dengekiya. Goods to be sold include:
DGS Goods
The goods will go on sale 9/23 at Animate and Dengekiya. No word yet on when they will be on sale at Chou! A&G Shop.
SYLPH Vol.8 includes a list of DGS goods that will be sold at CharaHobby in addition to the tshirts and goods previously announced on DGS 119.
– DGS Hibiki Goods Set (3000 yen)
Includes A3-sized desk mat, cosmetic pouch, mini pouch, and A4-sized clear file set (2 files in the set), all in a DGS bag.
– DGS Hibiki Tera Sensu (1000 yen)
Folding fan like the one Teraikemen Shireikan uses in the Hibiki manga. The text on it reads “Megane tte yo ni habakaru” ([eye] glasses have great influence on the world).
– DGS Hibiki Earphone Accessory (1500 yen)
Accessorize your earphones with the Hibiki logo.
– DGS Hibiki Mobile Cleaner (500 yen)
Use it to clean the screen of your cell phone.
This issue of SYLPH also has a mail order form to buy a Tomo black cat cushion. It measures 15x22x34 cm and costs 2500 yen plus 500 yen shipping. The furoku for Vol.8 is a preview book for the DGS Hibiki NDS game that includes character designs and interviews.
The SYLPH Editors’ Blog has been updated with photos of samples of the DGS Hibiki goods set and Tomo cushion. Future updates will introduce more of the goods that will be sold at CharaHobby.
First off, DGS koukai rokuon (public recording) in CharaHobby 2009 info.
The recording will take place on Saturday, August 29 at 13:30. There are three ways to get seats at the stage area:
You can apply using all three of these methods, but it’s limited to one entry per person per method.
Aside from the tshirt CCP, there will also be goods for HiroC, OnoD, and Kousei Suwa. They drew a lottery to see who would do what and HiroC drew “Kamiya Hiroshi no hatsukai no aji candy” (Kamiya Hiroshi’s first love-flavored candy), OnoD drew a keitai (cell phone) strap, and Kousei Suwa drew nabeshiki. Once again, HiroC’s bad luck at drawings comes through again, haha. The tshirts will be sold via mail order so those who can’t make it to CharaHobby won’t have to worry.
And now, time for some reviews! I will review the new OP/ED single, My Dear Girl!, the latest chapter of DGS from SYLPH vol.7, and a little late but I will also review the first DGS CD, Dear Girl ~Stories~.
It was officially announced during DGS 118 that Dear Girl ~Stories~ will become a game! No specifics such as release date have been decided yet, but the game will be for Nintendo DS and developed by the same company that did the Vitamin series, HuneX. The game will also be directed by the same person who directed the Vitamin series, Iwasaki Daisuke (aka IwaD). The game was jokingly called Vitamin Hibiki. Of course, the game will feature HiroC and OnoD. In addition, Iwasaki Saya sensei will be creating five new original characters for the game.
The official website for the game is here. SYLPH Vol.8 (to be released 7/22) will include a furoku preview booklet for the game, and more information will also be available in the next Dengeki Girl’s Style coming out 8/10.

The Kiramune website for Hare no Hi has been updated with the jacket covers for the album. Tokutens have also been announced for a couple stores. Ordering from .ANIME will get you a B2-size poster with the goukaban or a bromide card with the tsuujouban. At ComiComi Studio, the goukaban comes with a bromide card.
As for OnoD, a third solo single was announced some time ago, and he will also be at GUNDAM BIG EXPO for the Pilot G30th III stage at 13:30 on 8/23.
